More information

Major Real Estate

The Real Estate major focuses on the various problems that arise in the life cycle of a property (planning, building, marketing, selling/letting, managing, valuing, converting, renovating, etc.). The course content is based on the perspective of the property owner and investor. Accordingly, aspects such as property as an investment, property valuation, the property environment (e.g. law) and property development are heavily weighted. However, the course also offers a deeper insight into the individual segments of the real Estate market and shows how real Estate markets and locations for real Estate are analysed.

What does this major qualify for?

Graduates of the Real Estate major have the technical and methodological skills to provide qualified business and financial support in the field of real Estate and construction. They are characterised by sound business and financial knowledge, are able to support projects, are familiar with the real Estate markets and the language of the construction and real Estate industry and know the legal environment. They are able to value properties, prepare profitability analyses and make investment decisions.
